About Jennifer

Jennifer Burton is a trusted HR consultant with over 17 years of experience helping organizations align their people practices with their business goals. She’s passionate about turning transformative ideas into action and delivering strategies that enhance engagement, streamline operations, and foster long-term success.

Most of Jen’s career has been spent in Houston, TX, where she has developed strategic partnerships with executive leadership teams to support organizational goals. Jennifer has also worked in Southern California, Pittsburgh, and had a short stint in Germany with the Department of Defense, which has shaped her approach to addressing complex workforce challenges with empathy and precision. She excels in designing, developing, and executing HR strategies and best practices, with expertise in talent management, organizational development, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, and more. Jennifer is adept at identifying issues ahead of the curve and providing proactive recommendations to mitigate potential challenges.

A proud Spartan, Jennifer earned both her Bachelor’s in Business and her Master’s in Human Resources and Labor Relations from Michigan State University. She’s dedicated to making work better by empowering teams and creating sustainable change. Outside of work, Jennifer stays active through fitness and enjoys spending quality time with her family. She also volunteers in her community, living out her personal mission to serve and support others.
