Debbie Lockwood is a seasoned leader and the Chief Operating Officer & Integrator at HR Collaborative. She drives operational excellence and advances the firm’s mission to make work better. With over 25 years of experience in strategic human resources and talent management, Debbie excels at aligning people strategies with business goals, ensuring clients achieve sustainable success.

Since joining HR Collaborative in 2013, Debbie has held progressive leadership roles, including HR Business Partner and Vice President. She is recognized for her ability to foster meaningful client relationships, develop innovative HR solutions, and lead high-performing teams. Her earlier experience as a consultant and HR professional at organizations such as Hyatt Regency Chicago and Humanco Resources has honed her skills in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and organizational development.

Debbie earned her Master’s degree in Labor and Industrial Relations from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science – Employment Relations from Michigan State University. Dedicated to community impact, she serves as a board member for Goodwill of Greater Grand Rapids, advocating for social services that empower individuals.
