Job Overview
A business development representative (BDR) is a sales professional who generates new business opportunities for a company. BDRs are often the first point of contact for potential clients and play a critical role in building relationships. At Wolverine Worldwide, you will leverage your communication and intrapersonal skills to help expand our presence and product lines to various retailers worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a dynamic team to use outreach tools like phone, email, and LinkedIn for engaging potential customers.
- Communicate the benefits and expectations of partnering with HR Collaborative to prospective clients.
- Identify and generate new business prospects through targeted sales strategies focused on specific market segments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of professional experience.
- 4+ years of proven success selling Professional Services to mid-size market organizations.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment with a positive, solution-focused approach to interacting with coworkers and clients and is adept at juggling multiple priorities.
- Possesses a hunter mentality with excellent persuasive skills, strong verbal and written communication, and the ability to connect with and engage potential clients effectively.
- Tech-savvy and curious, with a strong desire for continuous learning and the ability to think on your feet in impromptu situations.
