Our client, a local Grand Rapid’s Non- Profit organization is seeking an ongoing, part- time, onsite HR Manager. This non- profit is very active in the Grand Rapids community, and is continuing to grow. Their next HR Manager would be responsible for traditional HR activities (onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, policy and compliance, etc.), advising on best practices, and providing guidance on the HR’s future structure and needs. This role is 20 hours a week, onsite, parking is covered by the organization. Candidates are preferred to have a warm and engaging demeanor while also being able to maintain confidentiality and have strong problem solving capabilities.

Must Haves

  • 5+ years of related experience in Human Resources
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities
  • Strong understanding of policy and compliance
  • Ability to work well in a fast moving environment
