Our client in the agriculture industry is looking for an HR Business Partner who will work with all levels of individuals to provide guidance on human resources issues, employment law, and the development of new programs and initiatives to meet company needs. They will primarily be responsible for HR-related activities including but not limited to employee relations, employee engagement, leadership and talent development, training, company culture, recruitment, policy interpretation, and administration, coaching and counseling members and management, and ensuring employment law compliance.


Essential Responsibilites

  • Provide guidance to management and employees on human resources issues, employment law, and develop new programs and initiatives to meet company needs
  • Program management. You’ll work on strategic HR projects like improving performance management, leadership development, and building career pathways.
  • Manage employee relations issues and investigations and collaborate with managers and supervisors on solutions. Coach on performance and disciplinary issues, working closely with directors, managers, supervisors, and employees. Identify and escalate trends or issues and develop solutions.
  • Use annual and pulse surveys, conduct exit interviews and stay interviews and find the root cause of attrition
  • Other duties assigned

Must Haves

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of Human Resource Generalist experience
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required
