Our client is looking for a VP of Human Resources and Payroll, who would be responsible for setting, enforcing, and evaluating legally compliant human resource policies, procedures, and best practices. Also, candidates would need to be comfortable identifying and implementing strategic talent management goals that support continuous improvement and optimal efficiency. The VP would also oversee the entirety of HR functions including payroll, benefits, total compensation, leave management, employee relations, HRIS, compliance, performance management, and recruiting and retention. Strong compensation experience and an affinity for data analysis preferred. Needs to be familiar and able to identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting the Human Resources function (e.g. DOL, OSHA, EEO, MDCR, ERIS, and Wage & Hour).
